I am your fisherman, Keree Smith. Originally from Oregon, I now live in Alaska. During the summer, I own and operate a 32-foot commercial gill-netter named the FV Deborah, in Bristol Bay, home of the worlds largest Wild Sockeye Salmon run.
Bristol Bay is heavily monitored and managed by fisheries biologist to ensure sustainable fishing practices. These salmon are harvested with care, bled, refrigerated and processed in a commercial grade facility in collaboration with Leader Creek Fisheries where they are pin-boned, flash frozen (use for sushi!) and vacuum sealed.
In the fall, I bring the highest quality filets and portions from the Leader Creek co-op, direct to consumers in the lower 48. I am excited to announce I will be delivering to Goodwynns in November! Join us at Goodwynns on 11/8 at our Hood Villages location and 11/10 at our Hood River location.
